I had an average rating; the first one ever,
By a fella named Dan; who said its not good!
Who told me that I shouldn't say XMAS!
But keep ‘Christ' in; as he thinks I should!
It is not detrimental to my God at all,
That I use the word XMAS many a time!
For my God knows me, and I know Him,
And when I asked Him, He said it was fine!
You see, I chat to Him every day,
And I am certain of this one fact;
If He didn't want me to use the word XMAS;
He would let me know it, using His tact.
For one way or another He would let me know,
After all, He's a very special God,
And He doesn't mine I have him up the wall;
Even though He's a very busy bod!
But I believe in my faith in God,
And I would imagine He believes in me too!
For the miracles of Christ are all about,
And I believe He knows just what to do…
What to do to let me know,
If I offend Him; this I know is true,
For does He not have that power to do so?
I believe He has, others believe it too!
So my words are not meant to offend anyone,
And I'm sorry if you are upset,
But this is my choice, to write as I please!
And you are the only person who seems to fret!
I chat to my God every night,
As I look to my light shade above;
He knows me well; He knows I'm true;
And He knows there is no hatred in me, just love.
So if my God has an issue with my words,
One way or another He'll let me know it's so!
Even if that's after my demise;
Meanwhile I shall go with the flow!!
For my God knows me well;
And He knows that I'm true,
Why else would I still be alive?
You see; He's always pulled me through!
He knows me, I know Him,
And that's all I need to know!
