It's pretty crazy
Everything I'm trying to ignore
Everything I don't know how to face
I've neglected poems and love notes
I've neglected my soul
The reality of what I see
Through my lustful orbs
Through my painful eyes
Nobody, but God, can save the world
So, I stopped trying or
Stopped accepting the pain of such regards
But, even in my very own life,
I watch what I love die
And I watch what I love despair
A holy family that suffocates
And disregards the offering of air
A sister that's been out-of-order a time and few
A sister that's been out-of-love
A father that suffers for the sake of Christ
A mother that suffers for the sake of Christ
A daughter that…that what?
And in “harmony” we…..
Oh, it's not just the dynasty that brings me such woe
My beloved. My beloved. My beloved.
An escort that has been bluffed a seldom time or two
By both I and he.
How can I live forever,
When I can hardly live today?
I envy too many faces
And their lives, and their families lives
So composed in sync and harmony
Appearances that I pray just spoof me
But despite all the affliction,
I've decided,
I must rise, and continue to rise
With or without any reason
