It's snowing again here in our small town. From my window I can see it coming down, like little bits of falling cotton. It won't stick of course which is a shame, but within the hour the snow will blend into a soft, Indiana drizzle. It will mix and blend for five or so minutes never willing to give up.
Suddenly the dark sky, opens to let the rain come down as it slowly over takes the streets below. Visibly a change is occurring. First it starts out as a soft, gently drizzle. Now the drench is growing upon us. Occasionally quick gusts of wind will bring cold shivers up and down my spine. I see what is left of the slush clanging to the bare roads up ahead. Ferocious rain against fragile snow, rain always stays, but snow always goes. This downpour will last twenty minutes or so, but never short as the snow. But that's what we get, cause it's Indiana weather; always changing.
