Tell me again,
what this man is guilty of,
I find Him without sin,
I see Him,
as a man of love.
You tell me to crucify,
If I put Him on that tree to die,
I wash my hands of His blood,
But I will always remember,
the tear in His eyes,
stained in my heart,
are tears inside.
You tell me ,
He's guilty,
I found no guilt in Him.
But I put a crown of thorn,
over His brow.
I find no fault with Him,
Those who walked with Him.
will not speak for Him now.
All I hear from the crowd,
are the words angry loud cries.
Crucify Him.
I am Pilot,
I govern the land,
I wash His blood,
off of my hand,
But inside,
I still remember
the tears in His eyes,
I told them no ties,
Drive in the spikes,
Maybe I thought death
would come quick,
in the night.
A spear in His heart,
He should have died,
But in the dark,
They saw Him rise.

King of the Jews,
born under a bright shining star,
Claim your birthright,
The sword is the word ,
The shield is God.
You came to fight,
A spiritual war.
I found Him guiltless,
but yet I condemned Him die,
Where were those who loved Him.
They weren't by His side.
