Heart Of The Matter
The Ring, It Went Round
He took me down there,
Where the rivers ran dry,
Where candy floss clouds,
Tickled baby blue sky,
Took me down to the river,
Re-invented the flow,
A whispered, I love you,
A whispered, I know,
He took me down there,
Wild heather in bloom,
A backdrop of bracken,
Gold gorse, golden broom,
We stood by the river,
On a high grassy mound,
He took hold of my finger,
The ring, it went round.
