Dear Oprah
Canada doesn't seem to believe in talk shows
The modern day miracle that can be found in our own backyards
its like i know of soo many people like everyone does that could use help
and ohnestly if i had the money
id spend it all secretly helping out the people i meet
as i slide in and out of their lives
like im some miracle man
but Canada doesn't seem to believe in miracles
and sadly im probably not worthy of being that figure head
I know people trying to get out of prostitution
I know peopl ewith mental illnesses and people who have children with disablities
who could use soo much help
but oprah there is no disney land in Canada
and very seldom do we even send them to a waterpark
in the world's largest malls
I don't like Jealousy
and Donald Trump says you hire smart people and listen to them
and there is alot of wisdom in that
but here in Canada
all we have is politics and the odd rock concert
drinking and pills to pop
as the cover models pretend to doctor the billion dollar industry of poverty
as the rent continually increases
and welfare wont allow you to go to school without cutting you off
soo much backwards logic
I have a wish Oprah
but I'm not American
I wish sometimes you were a travelling show
and would come here
or to whatever other countries and work your miracle play magic
and hand out cars or trips to wherever as you talk about the big problems
about closing the generation gaps
and tearing down the walls of predjudice and figuring out the seeds of injustice
and you would come to Canada with all your smarts
to show us a thing or two
to help make me
for one day
my life a show
I have soo many friends
soo many hurt family memebers
hurt ex lovers
people i know in need
and everytime i turn on the television
there arte the americans handing out new houses
like the television and snail mail and emails is like the new form
of some type of lottery
no ne else is allowed to recieve that i wish
i wish
i wish
would just happen to me
just one day
I would take ypou from place to place
tell you soo many things
soo many secrets about these individuals i cant help anymore
secrets i cant keep
things i cant help them with
because i dont have the money
and things are getting harder for me
I'd help my friends who needed lawyers and councelling get it
I'd help my family as messy as that would be
I'd try to help myself oprah
for truly this is all about me
Id tell u about the gay culture
I'd tell you about soo many things
i know we cant save the world
but idf my wish for you to be a travelling show
for you to come cross that border and visit my little city
and hand out some love
that two friendly countries that have eachothers backs should be doing
it would feel like i was saving my world around me at least
I would tell you about three murdered teens
and incompetant cops
and crooked judges and paid off lawyers
I would tell you about scared government workers
and those harassed by silent wars and other crulety
and if you let my life be your show for alittle while
where by helping me and my friends and family and me
you would be the figure head of a travelling man made miracle
teaching soo many people soo much
making soo much money
I know paraplaegic children and autistic children
who could use a wish
but Canada doesnt hand them out to anybody
we just pay for mcdonalds charities so Americans can give them all to their
citicens and we continue hoping and praying that one day
maybe
we will get what we deserve
and it will come circling round to us
as the few cents for every hamburger we scarf down goes to whatever charity
is an american dream
taken out of Canadas pocket
and canada never gets that dream
but together there we are at war oprah
and it doesnt make any sense to me
we dont spend much money here on the poor
or the people who do good things
there is no reward for anything here
just stumble till u fall
and then they pull your teeth
I dont put money into ronald mcdonald charities
and i dont buy american made canadian beer
i refuse to watch television almost dont buy any american music
for if i do all the money goes back to propoganda of america to show canada
that we are paying for the houses and cars you give away
and that dream you live doesnt happen over here
we dont get to go on amazing races
or play house lik ebig brother
we dont get to survive in the jungle for fame and fortune
or be tempted on some island
but i have a wish oprah
I wish your show would cross the border and let me have reign of your show
with no budget for as long as i can stand it
not a conspracy or form of government control
but i just know soo many people
soo many it would make you sick
and you like many are in a position to do something about it
i just have to smile and nod
and wait for the next knock to the head
and then say i liked it
I'm no angel u see
i do have bad karma
my wish is to have a chance to offset it in a big way
to help those including me
those i know who are in need
and in the end u would discover why
America is always the target of terrorism
because its no secret to me
Oprah the first thing we would do
is take a bus
from my apartment just down the street
to my agoraphobic friends house
who i can never get him to come out
and see what he needs
because its been awhile since any miracle has touched him
or soo many people who have gone soo far out of their way
for someone like me
and honestly oprah
i wont tell you my problem
but im not the greatest person
i have a supposed mental illness
i stir the pot alot
and i was on your site and realised because i wasnt american
and because im canadian
i will never be able to make a wish
and see it come true
even though i know several people who are deserving of them
maybe my life being soo terrible was a populations dream come true
im thinking ultimately
there is one way out
it can't be me
it might have to be someone like you
because its not going to be them
but were al versus eachother trying to work together
I wish i could be forgiven oprah
forgive myself at least
or feel like a better person
its not everyday three of your friends are murdered
the police wont do anything
and u go crazy and light your girlfriends house on fire
and spend years in the midst of people
who need help
and there is nothing you can do
as you watch the television making everybody elses dream come true
I wish
I wish you could come here
and make some of their dreams come true
because my country doesnt hand out wishes
we're too busy buying every other countries wish list every unchristmas
and unbirthday
three or four times a day
