Carol's Journey

 The Source of Hope
The women went to the tomb that Easter morn
When the stone was rolled away, they were torn
They went inside but His body was not there
Someone must have taken Him, but where?

Suddenly two men appeared all dressed in white
This is what they said in the midst of their fright
Why do you look for the living among the dead?
He is not here, for He has risen just as He said

Quickly they ran to tell the others what they heard
It made no sense and did not believe their word
But Peter ran to the tomb to check it out himself
He saw the strips of linen lying there by themselves

It was an angel of God who rolled the stone away
Just as Jesus had said, He rose on the third day
Thomas needed further proof Jesus was alive
He had to see the scars with his very own eyes

All who believe in Jesus have hope for all eternity
The Christian hope is not a wish, it is a certainty
Only God knows what will happen the next day
Would you be ready if Jesus came back today?

What does Easter mean to you personally today?
Is Jesus the source of hope in your life day by day?
If not, this Easter can be a new beginning for you
Just open your heart and accept His free gift, too

John 20:29 (AMP)
Jesus said to him, Because you have seen Me, Thomas, do you now believe
(trust, have faith)? Blessed and happy and to be envied are those who
have never seen Me and yet have believed and adhered to and trusted
and relied on Me.
