Heart Of The Matter
Sweet Gypsy Boy
Where have you gone, my gypsy boy?
You left without goodbyes,
Your carnival just came to town,
Lit up the darkened skies,
A flashing smile, the savoir-faire,
A glint in blackest eyes,
Mysterious, marauding,
The power to hypnotise,
Where have you gone, my gypsy boy?
The skies now turned to grey,
And no one knows your whereabouts,
The clouds get in the way,
You travel light by dark of night,
You conquer, and they fall,
Where are you now sweet gypsy boy?
You took my heart,
And all …
Come back, come back, my gypsy boy,
A child is now conceived,
You promised love forever,
And sadly,
I believed.
