Wondering why you exist
While someone else dies
Wondering why you feel joy
While others still cry
Wondering why the sand gets into your eyes sometimes
While a bullet rips someone else's chest
You're wondering why your girlfriend leaves you
Yet you still wish her all the best,
Wondering why you have to feel so much pain
Because of someone else's words behind your back
At times you feel not the same,
Wounded, bruised, under attack
Too many worries seem to clog your head and make you blind
So reestablish your soul
Connect your other side
Put all peculiarities at rest
To the heavens raise your chest,
See the sunset at its best.
Moving steady beyond the past
Being ready, for life's just a test
Until you get to heaven
Until your soul will reach this life's end
Seeing God's face
As He calls you His friend.
