Wide Awake
Wide awake, I'm dreaming of you
I long to see your handsome face,
Your green eyes caress my spirit
I need to be held in your embrace.
Wide awake, and, oh, so lonely,
How can I face another dawn?
Hopelessly lost, I want you, only,
No one can replace the love we've known.
Wide awake, can't bear the sorrow,
How could I ever ask you to go?
Alas, there's only a lonely tomorrow,
I miss you much more than you will know.
