Designer Suit And Hermes Tie
The Parliamentary Candidate …..
Designer suit and Hermes tie,
A practiced smile, fixed and dilated,
Hawk-like eyes, he seeks his prey,
“Can I have your vote today?”
He cares, he says, about your plight,
Next time round, he'll get it right,
He stands for freedom, justice too,
“Please vote, I wouldn't lie to you?”
Same old story, same old song,
Vote him in, and then he's gone,
Raise your taxes, his pay rise,
Designer suits and Hermes ties.
