My Life In Words
Living A Lie
I close my eyes and your
with me,
Your face in the dimly
lit room I see.
Our hearts beat as one
our souls colide,
This love I feel for you
I continue to hide.
We can't be more than
friends you and I,
Somehow I must continue
to live this lie.
Someday I must spread
my wings and fly,
From this empty nest
And give up this lie.
I feel your strong
embrace once again,
For now I want to
live for this sin.
I see you everyday
and it makes me quiver,
Like the chill in the
air that makes me shiver.
You don't even know, you
haven't a clue,
My secret feeling that I
have for you.
Sometimes I feel somehow
you must know,
That these feelings for
you I'd love to show.
Destiny has brought us
this far,
As we gaze upon that
same bright star.
For now I'll just close
my eyes,
And you will be there to
cover up these lies.
Embrace me now, look
deep into my eyes,
And lay with me until
the beautiful sunrise.
with me,
Your face in the dimly
lit room I see.
Our hearts beat as one
our souls colide,
This love I feel for you
I continue to hide.
We can't be more than
friends you and I,
Somehow I must continue
to live this lie.
Someday I must spread
my wings and fly,
From this empty nest
And give up this lie.
I feel your strong
embrace once again,
For now I want to
live for this sin.
I see you everyday
and it makes me quiver,
Like the chill in the
air that makes me shiver.
You don't even know, you
haven't a clue,
My secret feeling that I
have for you.
Sometimes I feel somehow
you must know,
That these feelings for
you I'd love to show.
Destiny has brought us
this far,
As we gaze upon that
same bright star.
For now I'll just close
my eyes,
And you will be there to
cover up these lies.
Embrace me now, look
deep into my eyes,
And lay with me until
the beautiful sunrise.
