 Highway Of Life...
The road is long and we walk
it alone,
We have nobody to call our
own.

Every decision is ours to
make,
We must be cautious of the
route we take.

Every downfall has a lesson
to be learnt,
If we don't learn from it
we will be burnt.

The highway of life seems
to go on forever,
Trudging our way forward
trying to be clever.

Around every bend is a
new adventure,
Or another downfall we
must endure.

If I pass you and forget
to throw you a smile,
Please forgive me, I just
needed to rest awhile.

And if by luck I see
you again,
I pray that you can
think of me as your
friend.
