some listened, some made love
some made war for the man up above
but mostly it was imperialistic greed
no war has ever been fought for need
this is what I know with out hope it is woe
no one knows the dirty tricks and deeds, don't show
our country was founded on many principles
we have not been good history pupils
war to end all war has come and gone
and still we fight in squirmishes and so on
no matter what they are called
from our leaders we should feel appalled
and you ask why? Ask some other guys
politicians will answer from there book of lies
