SUMMER SOLSTICE, 2002

Spent the night in Pioneer Park
After midnight, it was dead
Just the tombstones, moon, and stars
Me, waiting on a army blanket bed

Went to the pay phone
Kept dropping my money
Wanted to have you
There with me honey

Didn't talk twice
What can I say
Do you want me or hate me
When you're at my door yesterday

Are you afraid to hear
The passion you bring
Are my poems from hell
Not praises I sing

If you hate me
Then you can be glad
Because it was a
Cold night I had

If you are blessed
By my words and future touch
Then get me alone
I miss you so much

Please don't be angry
Thought you liked sexy rhyme
Can't you give me an hour
To prepare for some time

Moments with the real you
Want to shine with perfume and beauty
Please call me often
Give you sexy, pretty duty

Smile, your seriousness scares me
Or yell at me alone if you won't hear me
Here confuse still lost in you
Lamplight, outside, writing as I do.
