Welcome Home Jessica
To My great grandaughter Jessica Angela Penniluck born 12/4/07 at 3.08 pm weighing 7lb 8 ounces
Enigmatic smile as if to say
At last, well here I am with you today
I know I caused you all a lot of worry
By coming home in such a busy flurry
But wasn`t I worth waiting for
My bright blue eyes and golden hair
Soft fair skin and dimpled cheek
Inquisitive to take a peek
At life as I begin my story
Life and all its lovely glory
Call me Jessica, that`s my name
So happy to at last be hame
Nice to meet you all my dears
Get to know me down the years
Mummy worked so hard for me
I`ll make her proud, you wait and see.
All who love me know I care
And I`m very much aware
Of the trouble you went through
As you wondered what I`d do
I know that you will watch me grow
But I want you all to know
I will be all that I can
`Cause it`s part of Gods great plan
As you hear my baby cries
Help me see things through your eyes
For my memory won`t reach
I`m your baby, yours to teach
One day when I`m very old
I will read these words of gold
Telling me about my birth
And my entry here on earth
Then I`ll know how much you care
Thank you all for being there
I will never be alone
Thank you for my welcome home
