Heart Of The Matter
Deep, Dark Waters
I shall meet you on the higher ground,
One more day spent in waiting,
The weekend looms, for April moons,
The distance, so frustrating,
I'll take your hand, you'll understand,
What words can not convey,
By night we'll dance beneath the stars,
We'll walk the shore by day,
And on the deep dark waters,
The moon will cast its glow,
Again we'll share the mystery,
That only; lovers know,
The weekend looms, for April moons,
Our time to spend alone,
And nestled in your arms again,
I find my way back home.
