I'm not ashamed of the tears,
that fall from my eyes,
They came with a price.
paid on Calvary's hill.
I have prayed prayers,
that only God hears,
I know longer keep,
the pain inside.
I have a thirst,
that only God can fill,
All of the hurts and pain.
Start to disappear.
All that's left in the rain,
is a unashamed tear.
God has made a arc,
God has sent a light in the dark,
I hear every word,
He whispers to my heart,
I can feel Him oh so near.
I may shed a unashamed tear.
For all the past,
has been covered,
At last I have discovered,
That my sins have disappeared,
I may shed a unashamed tear.
I found at Calvary,
That Jesus died for me,
And if it's a tear you see,
on my face,
It's falling into His grace,
For all the pain,
that was His to bare,
On that cross,
I know I was there,
Seeing it all in my mind,
and my heart,
No longer blind,
out of the dark,
That old life disappears,
and I shed,
unashamed tears
