God watches Over His Own

Who can hang a star so high
Who can make a rainbow
Who can make a little bird fly
Only God can
He can reach from heaven to earth
And his miracles are unlimited

~ ~ ~
All through the night
To the joy of the morning
God watches over his own
He made the moon and stars
To make beautiful the night
He put the sun high in the sky
to make beautiful the day
He made the sky as blue as the ocean
And the sun the color of gold
God made the grass as green
As the tall pine tree
And mountains that touch the sky
And valleys filled with flowers
To feed the wild honey bee

God took the dust of the earth
And held it in his hands
He worked a wonderful miracle
That dust become a man
And from a rib he made a woman
To a nation she gave birth
~ ~ ~
Man can make beautiful gardens
But it is God that makes them grow
Man can make fine house's
But only God can make it a home
where love can flow
~ ~ ~
Man can make things of wonder
With beauty to behold
But God works his wonders
With Miracle that touch the soul
And all through the night
to the joy of the morning
God watches over his own
