*^*^ Sister Moon *^*^

Sister Moon I'm mesmerized neath your glow
You enchant me here below
On your silent company I depend
With you there's no need to pretend
You are so beautiful in my view
My secrets are very safe with you
Sister Moon, we have become so close
The bond between us strongly grows
Would you tell if I should die?
Deep in this lake in peace to lie
I trust no other with my thoughts
Sweet release with you I've sought
Amidst the shadows of the night
With only your lovely pale moonlight
I sense a deep sadness in the air
Is there anyone around who cares?
Sister Moon can you bear to linger there?
There's no-one in the sky with you near
Does not your heart ache with despair
Are we just a lonely pair?
Two betrayed women left behind
He promised he would always be mine
Until your brightness starts its decline
Or by chance a new lover I should find
Shine on for me Sister Moon, shine!
