A Lazy Farmer
I once walked by a field,
Admired at such a yield;
Such a fine looking crop,
A price to be at the top.
Then I saw a lazy fool,
Who never picked up a tool,
His field was all thorns and weeds,
Too lazy to sow his seeds.
Thorns and weeds everywhere,
Almost as if he did not care;
I saw his stone wall fell down,
He spends all his time in town.
He rather would look at cars,
Drinking with women in bars;
Than doing what is for the best,
Allowing His Lord for to blest.
Idle mind makes an idle heart,
Making you stray from the start;
Too late when finding the cost,
With everything that you lost.
