We Will Meet Again
I know you are in Heaven
And that you`re safe up there
But dear I am so lonely
With no-one left to care.
You did not want leave me
And I know you had no choice
When His face He let you see
And when you heard His voice.
I know that Jesus loves you
And needs you by His side
But dear whatever can I do
The pain is hard to hide.
Others say they understand
They look at me with sorrow
They can not take me by the hand
To face each new tomorrow.
I`ll be brave I promise dear
And try hard not to grieve
If you promise to stay near
And never ever leave.
I must say goodbye for now
Someday we`ll meet again
In life I will live on somehow
