My American Prayer
To you men in power
It's time for our sons and daughters
To come home embraced their families,
They have done far beyond their duty
How much more innocent bloodshed
Will it take to satisfy your hunger for power?
It's our children who are paying the price
With their lives
So far away in a strange land
Yes they are soldiers*
Called to serve and do with such honor
And God knows they have and gave it their all
More are dying now then in the midst of war!
A mother's plea from her broken bleeding heart
Let Iraq, Pakistan, The Muslim be,
Now they are free
And can rebuilt their own country
American troops done all they can
Let them return to their homeland
LET'S BE TRUE TO OUR FLAG
And our stripes, which they stand,
Time we stood up for our men and women
They are soldiers yes and the very best
But also our children
We love and adore and long to hold
They have wives and husbands
Sons and daughters!
Crying, praying, yearning,
To embrace once more
And to hold their hands
Isn't it time we too,
For them took a stand?
God bless America,
God bless our angels our troops
Bring them Home now in far away land.
