 My Career
I work in a hardware store
But I don't know much more
To actually identify parts
I do not know where to start

My supervisor had asked
That I go to a training class
Terminology is foreign to me
I work in the office, you see

She wanted me to see first hand
So that I would better understand
It was all about frames and doors
I found it interesting to explore

Christians, watch the words you use
Others can easily become confused
They don't know what it is about
It is no wonder many have doubts

If we don't relate to our culture today
How will they know Jesus is the Way?
I try to use examples from everyday life
Issues they face in their toil and strife

If we truly want others in Jesus to believe
We need to very careful we do not deceive
Explain it clear so they will see their need
Let them know Jesus is their Friend indeed

Romans 10:13-14 (NIV)
For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
