Mutual Seekers of Sorrow
We are two lost souls
Running parallel
Entangled in our self-destruction
Subconsciously seeking hell
We mutilate ourselves
With fear and negativity
To later produce
These scriptures of beauty
We gaze the murky streets
Each day with lonely eyes
Soaking up our wounds
Below sinister skies
Happiness will then surround us
While we embrace our ominous escape;
Until reality is again revealed,
We'll continue to create.
We look inside ourselves
And far outside of our minds
Where inspiration lingers
And veracity is left behind.
Miles apart are we
But bleeding the same pain
Bearing similar scars
And embracing them just the same
Here we are now
In a dream beyond control,
Dipping our pens deep down
Into the ink that is our soul
Here we are now…
Anguish will now unfold…
