¤¤ I Heard Your Name ¤¤
Lord, there's power in Your name!
I heard Your name on my Mother's knee
In old hymns and prayers she shared with me
She taught me how to sing and praise
Each day to You our thanks we raised
Through somewhere into middle age
I slipped right off my bible's page
Worldly glitter called to me
So strongly I became a bit silly
My mother's words I then ignored
satan enticed me to his front door
But deep within, my conscience spoke
Your blessed name broke satan's yoke
Now my children have become happy
With the difference they see in me
I share with them Your precious name
Each day Your blessings for them I claim
Lord! Thank You!
There is power in Your name!
