 My today's thoughts

A CHEERY SMILE

Cheery Smile

Tonight I hurt in places I didn't know I had
muscles are paining - my back is aching
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My daughter is home for a visit
We have been cleaning out closets
throwing away and rearranging
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When did the mother become the child
When did the child become the mother
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay,  Mom,  "If you hadn't used it in a year
you are not going to use it"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The trash man came this morning and carried away
items - once treasures - now trash
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I complained she said
stop  whining  the pain only last a little while
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

whaaaaa!  --  whaaaa  --  whaaa    was my response
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

She said with a cheery smile
Mom,  why don't you write about someone that
collects so much junk it brakes her back to carry it out
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tonight I hurt in places I didn't know I have
My back is aching - muscles are sore
even my toes have pain
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BUT my closets are clean and straight
If I want something I now know where it is
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My daughter is a take charge girl
pretty and sweet most of the time
BUT a drill sergeant  could learn a few things from her
P.S.
I know this was an act of love from my daughter
she could have gone somewhere to have fun
BUT she chose to come and help me
How very blessed I am
Psalm 144:12  KJV
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth;
that our daughters may be as corner stones,
polished after the similitude of a palace:
