Facing Anything
I am very grateful to the Lord,
Being at peace and in one accord;
I have no quarrels or any grief,
Of how I feel about my belief.
I learned to be glad with what I got,
To some it may seem to be a lot;
While others may think I am poor,
Since they are greedy and wanting more.
I know with feeling full or empty,
But the Lord sees that I have plenty;
Since I remain in Him and abide,
He will ensure enough to provide.
Having too little or too much,
Always through prayer I keep in touch;
To worship I will use my gift,
Praising which gives me an uplift.
As I am grateful how God has blessed,
Since for Him I try to do my best;
For in Christ I am given the strength,
To face anything at any length.
