Heart Of The Matter
Into Serenity
I slip into serenity,
This early Sunday morn,
Rest within the silence,
Enjoy this brief sojourn,
All soft within my garden,
The petals pure and white,
Sweetly scented in sincerity,
They dance in morning light,
My thoughts awash with memories,
Brief tokens of the past,
My hopes, my dreams, my wishes,
A love destined to last,
I revel in my reveries,
Arouse the light within,
I feel, his very essence,
I live, I breathe, in him.
