Writers Cramp
This gift given comes at a price
More times than not a sacrifice
Of thought, moments that sometimes read
Chapters of life that intercede
Digest what curve balls thrown our way
Some good and bad, some that will lay
Unto a page that spell out why
Who, what, where short stories abide
Written with hope it's sole intent
Describe what ticks in and what it meant
To her or him that pour their souls
Out to readers of tales untold
The catch is that they don't come down
With writers cramp a setback found
When mind, body and soul don't click
Brain fart that makes all writers sick
And so it goes, oh no not now!.*&*%$#@
