Your life is in the dash
A simple little line
Between the first and last
It indicates your time
Don't focus on the past
It's all been said and done
Just make the good times last
And learn to help someone
Your life is in the dash
It tells your life story
Just like an hour glass
It's time that you can see
The dash is a great gift
Given to you by God
The reason you exist
Is the life that He bought
Your life is in the dash
A short and simple line
Your life can end so fast
Without a warning sign
So take time out to live
Enjoy life while you can
Then find time to forgive
And help your fellow man
