If we were to get back together, My heart would be just like a feather, All my Christmas` would be rolled into one, My sadness and heartache would be gone.
Am I kidding myself do you think? Could we ever pick up that broken link? You hurt me so badly I`ll never forget, `Cause my heart and hopes on you I had set.
The bottom fell out of my world that day, My life in broken pieces on the floor lay, Don`t think I can take that hurt a second time, To hurt me again would be an awful crime.
Dare I take the chance if we were to get back? I know my heart would be right back on track, I`m frightened of being hurt it has to be said, Should I stop the doubts and let my heart rule my head?
