SELFISHNESS---EVIL'S ROOTS


With my mind already
Feel God steadily
Pouring into my soul
Because to love is the goal

With your prayers you save me
Lift me up to what you gave me
If through another's prayers you're freed
Be joyous in that holy seed

Is spreading throughout the land
By every woman, child, and man
That feels in their gut what's wrong
A conscienceness of God in song

We are all here living together
Obey love through the weather
When the devil tries to steal the soul
We'll live God's love so Satan will know

Cast from heaven as he was
God's lovely angel turned dark because
He didn't love God and others on the wing
Cast there to hell to bring

Hate into our Earth
Dark into our days
Pain into birth
Too selfish for love's ways.
