These Broken Chains
Though not seen by our own eyes
Amazing how these claims so tie
The soul we have to other things
Not worthy of great offerings
Money matters that plant their seed
In some who live for it and greed
Which blurs vision destroying faith
When all is spent our lives we hate
The alcohol which has it's way
Abuse then comes, destruction stays
With drugs in hand where spirits die
Why so condone these evil ties
Unfaithfulness to him and her
To GOD our Lord who tries to stir
The pure goodness that he did make
For short we fall and granted take
These chains broken I now proclaim
For great is He and in His name
Forgiveness mine no longer slave
My life now His, This soul CHRIST saved
