My mother is from the old world. She came from a far off place. She was never one to adorn jewelry or wear much make-up on her face. Her hands are calloused from hard labor yet her spirit still remains strong. She seems to find good in the bad and the right in all things wrong. She never wears frilly clothing Like dresses trimmed in lace. Her home is always neat and clean Each thing is in its place. She is not a vain, silly creature Her friend is not the mirror. but her smile is always radiant. Her eyes with age grow clearer. Though exquisite beauty doesn't fit her She is always full of grace. My love for her each day grows deeper It is a love time cannot displace. Love You Mom!
