The Love of Christ
I kneel in prayer to the Father,
Grateful He gave us a brother;
For salvation through His loss,
When He died upon the cross.
All beings Heaven and earth,
Receiving from Him their birth;
Faith in the Holy Trinity,
In living through eternity,
I pray that He makes you strong,
And keeping you from all wrong;
Remember if you slip confess,
He shall forgive and also bless.
Christ will live within your heart,
With love from God to impart;
If your faith standing secure,
Then you surely will endure.
I pray you understand,
Keep away from sinking sand;
His power and love goes far,
While reaching for a star.
