When she was born that day in September,
It was a day that we'd always remember,
The doctor said everything was fine,
And that the pounds she weighed, were nine.
She was 19 ½ inches long,
And her lungs were really good and strong,
She had good color and lots of dark hair,
And when she cried, everyone would stare.
At the beautiful sight just brought into our world,
This beautiful, strong, and willing little girl,
Her brother was so excited to finally meet her,
That as her big brother, one thing was for sure.
He would always be there no matter what,
To stand beside her, open or shut,
We would all spend everyday together,
No matter what the weather.
She cried a lot, whether happy or sad,
And towards the end, it was really bad,
The day before she went away,
We all didn't know it was our last day.
The next morning she was gone,
For to the Heaven's she was drawn,
So now our little angel she has become,
And we'll never know why her time had come.
But one thing is for sure, we'll always know,
That with her smile and wings she will always glow,
From the Heaven's above,
To the earth down below,
She will always be an angel
That continues to grow.
