 The Never Ending Story

You probably read and heard it all
About this man who would befall
The wrath of men who would reject
One of their own, one of their sect

Funny though how some believe
The great story of one conceived
By a virgin who knew not man
Was just a farce, no woman can

This child was born inside a manger
Meager surroundings, yet much in danger
As Kings would come to pay tribute
But King Herod, JESUS refute

His childhood days were spent teaching
What men of GOD today are preaching
Yet still today just like the past
Some would lend ear, others would cast

A ransom paid and I would bet
No one would come or even let
Their child now man, to sacrifice
Their life for all and not think twice

This poem reads what you have read
and wish I could change it instead
I chose to write and pray you'll see
What Christ gave up for you and me

This story will never end
You see GOD calls for all to spend
A moment of what some would say
Is much too high a price too pay

Grant time to know who made it all
The Prince Of Peace, the world will call
