Absent Minded
can you tell an apostle from the fake?
most people have a dream reality
of what or who a saviour is going to look like
or be
as if hes going to shoot rainbows out of his b u t t
...or have the power to walk on water
like last time
or heal the sick
when his feat of unequal measure
this time
is merely to lead
and survive
while evil tries to gun him down
....those who believe
are usually too afraid
to stick their neck out for that
hahahahahaha
but want peace on earth
and heaven
but won't prove they are worthy
....so with this fence sitting
could u sniff out an apostle?
and if u could
would u understand the methods of his madness?
if hes not walking on water
and not a complete saint
in this world of evil where he has to lead
as many people he can out of the darkness toward the light
by whatever means
as they throw proverbial sticks and stoines at him?
to say he isnt who he really is
and just choke it down and keep going?
whats ur image of the next coming?
is he weeping or has been all along?
is he writing dark poetry
to lead people to the conclusion
there are better things to do and such?
is he trying to show the world through example
that women are worth being repsected
but being fought every step of the way
but not saying a word as loose lips sink ships?
but because his curse to not being surrounded by a glow of white light
like the false prophets of any religion
who couldnt smell a martyred f a r t
who have condemned themselves to hell
ignorance is now bliss
and he has to find a way to save those brainwashed liars
from themselves as time continues to run out
and no one can fathom god's anger
for rubbing his death and torture of his only begotten son
for decades in god's face
innocently or not
...could you sniff an apostle and not tell him hes wrong?
could you do the right thing
even though the man in the middle
who is the one who isnt leading the way you thought
he would have and the way you though
the satairway would be built to heaven
isnt as beautiful as you thought?
Hes not coming back,
this world is your punishment for what you did wrong
not his
and he is here,
not to stay
but cementing things in place
through his sphere of influence
and trying to live a perfect life through pain
he was born to live which include what many would think of as mistakes
.....so when the time comes which might be now
...could you realise he is here and been leading for years
and trying absent mindedly to stay alive
and trying not to condemn false martyrs
and prophets to their own hell
by playing dumb and now you have to become
everything you never wanted
and rise against your own beliefs
to see your friends in heaven?
or no? you just couldn't
