Heart Of The Matter
It Matters Not The Distance
It matters not the distance,
The time and days between,
When two are strongly bonded,
Love's eternal, evergreen,
Do you know how much you changed me?
In you, my life fulfilled,
You somehow rearranged me,
Do you know how much you thrilled?
You're the one, who understands me,
Who keeps me holding on,
Through all the years of longing,
We two, still standing strong,
You're my friend, my soulmate, lover,
The very air I breathe,
A love, uncompromising,
You're the reason,
I believe,
So we walk our path together,
Singing love songs as we go,
Here's a note that says “I love you”,
Just in case,
You didn't know.
