False Gospel

Add a little here
Change a verse there
Who will really notice-
Who will truly care?

How easy to fool
And lead souls away
From the One True God-
Mere child's play…

First, tickle their ear
To what they wish to hear.
Changes soothe their itch
Yes – they like "the switch" .

They fall for the bait
Not reaching God's gate
Stuck in the mire
Caught by king Liar.

They couldn't even tell
They drank from poisoned well.
Followers of false word,
Tricked by a fatal sell.

Add a little here
Change a verse there
Who will really notice-
Who will truly care?
