Hello Mama , It's Mother's day again
I just wanted to send a hug to you in heaven
I sure do miss seeing you on days like this
Especially miss giving you a gift with a kiss
Ya know Mama I really feel you still can see
The love in my heart and what you mean to me
I've grown so close to the Lord these days
Sure wish you could see the ministry he gave
My poetry is growing as well as the readers
The Lord gave me word to stay away from deceivers
I sure do miss you but the Holy Spirit guides me good
I do my best to follow and do as a christian should
God is so faithful and I praise him everyday
When you passed I grieved for years in such dismay
Finally after twelve years the comforter took it away
It was my own holding on that prolonged it to stay
Now I write poetry that you first inspired
The enemy can't hold me in bondage for he's a liar
I feel you closer now than when I was distraught
Funny how letting go and trusting God helped alot
My boys are all successful in a trade
Your favorite son n law now flies remote planes
The grandkids are all growing like weeds
The oldest has her own place,so hard to believe
The huge white peace Iris's are now in full bloom
I know you'd love them so I planted them for you
Every bloom that pops out on any of my flowers
I think of you and how you would relish them for hours
It's odd while you were living I didn't plant or care
Perhaps you're using my hands now to plant and share
Whatever the case may be,they are a joyful gift to me
My yard is named "Garden of Love" dedicated above
Trees and bushes,vines and flowers all around
Even ground cover in areas cover the ground
I know it is divinely touched from up above
By the Father and my Angel Mama with love
So as you look over the beauty that is there
Know that I am gardening with loving care
Just like you Mama I fuss over everyone
Trimming and caring with help from the Son
I guess I better close this to find a special rose
For it is the rose we have shared and love the most
Give hugs to My Sissy and Grandma and Aunts too
Then envelop yourself in this (((HUG))) I send to you
