Love Suicide

The first day she saw you
She knew you were right
The guy she always dreamt of
That would love her until she died.

She saw you every day
But never said a word
You saw her
But never once stopped

The days grew longer
As the year grew shorter
Her undying love for you
Was yet to be told

The day she heard you were moving
She made a promise to herself
“I will tell him once and for all
How much I really love him”

The promise was kept
But the outcome was not great

“Friends is all we can be”
You said
“So please, go on with your life”

She went home that night
With blood stained tears
She sat on her bed
With a gun to her head

She pulled the trigger
And ended her life
But the worse part was
She died for love.
