If I could conquer the fear
that lives within my heart
I would have the freedom
in this world to do my part.
For if I had the courage
like a rubber boat
I would face life's rapids
and find myself afloat
upon the waters of freedom
that appear so blue
if I had the courage
I would like to be with you.
I will try to do my part
and do the best I can
until I can get past it
no need to fear of man.
