The Face Of GOD
They who bumped and startled you
He who said go right on through
Excused themselves to let you know
GOD's grace was there, their face would show
Those that waved when you drove by
Faces unknown while asking why
Why would someone greet with smiles
Unknown to us, is just God's style
She who gave all of themselves
When you were down and by yourself
Who calmed the storm that raged in you
That brought you peace that was GOD too
The ones you called not by their names
Those ugly words that brought them shame
Would turn the other cheek and come
Forgiving you, GOD's will was done
All you've seen before your eyes
And yet to see is how GOD tries
To bring to light, the Light is He
Who gave His son to die for thee
Those who read what He just wrote
Through mortal hands it's He that spoke
To say I'm here, there and everywhere
Living in all, your heart should wear
Listen to your heart, it's where GOD calls home
