Opening Up

I'm standing still
Trapped in time
Lost power of my own free will
By a beauty so divine

She's playing with my brain
I'm loving this game
She reaches to the biggest part of me
Makes me want her dreams come true

I tell her do you know how long
I've been waiting just to meet you
Place your hand upon my chest
That's not a normal beat

Even to me it is real unique
Through those ebony eyes of yours
I see music singing to my soul
You're breaking me down

Went from no one to you being around
When someone mentions your name
I feel the width of my cheeks
Begin to increase

You're nowhere around
Still it's me you tease
Just say the word
It's you I'll wish to please

There you go
Knocking on the biggest part
I'm looking out the window
Hesitant on whether to let you in

Should I open this door
Inside this heart it's a mess
I didn't prepare for any guests

Praying you're not a wolf
Disguised in sheep's clothing
The door I slowly begin to open
