It Seems To Me
It Seems To Me
It seems to me, you seem to be,
Exceedingly,
Concerned about me……
I know that you
Care so much more
Than you allow
Yourself to explore,
You're locked into
Your life, alone,
You wonder ‘bout me,
Out on my own.
The love we shared
Has been undone
The clouds will hide
The warming sun.
It's raining tears
Of Deep regret
Tears will wash clean,
But haven't yet.
I'll get along,
And you will too,
Someday these mem'ries
Will fade from view.
Until that time,
No need to be,
Exceedingly
Concerned about me……….
