Story of a War

Once upon a stormy night
the world at war, a major fight.
Evil being thrown back and forth
with no sign of peace
the weapons did not cease.

All of the sudden a light appeared
above for all to see.
There stood an angel on a cloud
above the mighty sea.
The world was calm, not a sound heard
then down from the sky flew a bird.
The land stood quiet, the fighting
had ceased,
a crashing down of the mighty beast.

The bird was a dove, as it flew overhead
the air had a new feeling
there was love instead.
The fighting was over there was
peace in the land,
understanding and happiness were
finally at hand.
