He finds himself standing
At a massive gate
Waiting to walk in
He's told he has to wait
The man looks in his book
Then looks him in the eyes
He says that he is sorry
He walks away and cries
He thought he did things right
He helped his fellow man
He followed all the rules
He did the best he can
He lived a perfect life
Right from the start
The one thing that was missing
Christ wasn't in his heart
We need to understand
There's only just one way
For anyone to make it
To pass through heaven's gate
He died up on that cross
And took our sins away
We need to believe in Him
We need to live by faith
Most people on this earth
Are hidden from the truth
Satan tries to keep them
Blinded since their youth
They think that they can make it
By living a good life
But they are living blindly
Not living by the light
So we must spread the news
Of our risen Lord
We must share the message
And hope they get on board
They need to know the truth
That Christ's the only way
All other ways are useless
They need to know today
Before it gets too late
