Pass You By
*another duet, all in fun and none of this is true lol*
Pass You By
I didn't want to pass you by
but I did somehow
I didn't want to leave you
but it's too late as I look back
and I didn't want to think
we would ever fall out of love
but it happened to slow....to fast
to process....
We were supposed to wake up
One day when we were older
wiser to the hard knocks
But we flew past each other
I'm not sure where it went wrong
where life path's diverged us
but I now walk this road alone
just looking out the window
wondering where did it all go?
that's how this love passed
fast, but makes you dizzy
too many scenes in a blur
not enough in focus
before decay occurred
I often think of her....
I often think of him....
Wishing often
I could go back and make time stand still
how no matter what
what people I might fall for
nothing is quite as magical
as your love once was
a snapshot, a still frame
dusty old scrapbooks
that spell out your name
and I think....
